	It Is What It Is Music is an independent record label and production company based in Nashville, Tennessee. Producer Ryan Michaels formed the label with business partners Mike Donaker and Jim Phelan for the purpose of bringing unique and extraordinary talent to the public. There is a musical revolution coming and It Is What It Is, in partnership with online distribution, performance venues, and independent radio, is working towards its growth and evolution.

Maureen Murphy grew up in a small town on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She knew from an early age that she wanted to sing and live her life around music.
